The Squamish Arts Council (SAC) is looking for public feedback about the development of a digital literacy project for the community’s arts sector, and you're invited to weigh in with your opinions.

The SAC has received a grant of $38,000 from the Canada Council for the Arts to carry out a project to use new or existing technology to address challenges faced by the community's arts and culture sector. The SAC will be partnering with the management consultancy group KPMG, who will help develop the specifics of the initiative.

As part of the first phase, centred around community engagement, the SAC has released a public survey for artists, performers, and consumers of art.  “We’re really hoping to hear a diverse range of feedback from not only artists but consumers of art, people who appreciate art, people who engage with art,” SAC chair Cydney Lyons told the Squamish Chief.

You can take the survey online until mid-September by clicking here.
