Every other Tuesday at 11 a.m. until the Culture Days 2011 events of September 30, October 1 and 2, toll-free telephone conferences will be held for anyone interested in learning more about how to participate.

National and regional staff will answer questions and provide guidance to help you make the best of your Culture Days experience, from planning and connecting with others in your area to promoting and presenting your activity.

The full schedule of events was has been released for Summer Live in Stanley Park -- a free, three-day festival hosted by the City of Vancouver on July 8, 9 and 10, 2011 to celebrate Vancouver's 125th
anniversary.

The Alliance Marketing Council brings professionals in the arts marketing field in Vancouver together three times each year for learning and networking.

There will be a celebration of the life of Renee Louise Paris, pillar of Vancouver’s arts community for decades, on Sunday, June 19 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Performance Works.

Renee’s courage, compassion and generosity are legendary. Her fierce will and intelligence informed, challend and blessed those she touched. She had a way of cutting through to the core of every issue, moment and person. We admired her style, her icono clastic ways, her poise and her unswerving sense of self in times good and bad.

The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation will consider a motion on June 27 at 7:00 p.m. to explore the potential use of any surplus facilities and space, including closed field houses, for re-use as arts spaces.
