Digital Media Funding Programs Open For Applications

Two funding programs of interest to digital media creators have upcoming deadlines in November. 

The Interactive Fund is a program created in partnership between Creative BC and the BC Arts Council. The program is intended to support the production of high quality, original, interactive digital media content and software applications owned and controlled by BC companies or individuals.

This past weekend, 556 arts, culture, and heritage activities were hosted in 54 communities in British Columbia to celebrate the 5th annual BC Culture Days weekend. Culture Days takes place every year in every province and territory across Canada. Thanks to the generosity of thousands of artists, cultural organizations and groups, volunteers, and sponsors Culture Days had an estimated 2 million participants this year in 873 cities and towns across the country!

British Columbia's participation in the fifth annual Culture Days will kick off with a free public celebration on Thursday, September 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Centre Stage at Surrey City Hall.
