Grants Available for Cultural Spaces Now Open

Up to $25,000 in funding is available for space-related projects including mentorships, planning and research for capital projects and capacity building.

Up to $25,000 in funding is available for space-related projects including mentorships, planning and research for capital projects and capacity building.

City of Vancouver announces that a new grant of up to $25,000 is now available to "support  small arts and culture space-related projects." 

Eligible projects include: 

  • Planning or research studies related to the acquisition or development of arts/cultural space 
  • Small capital projects to improve accessibility and sustainability 
  • Projects that support capacity development related to spaces
  • Mentorships with eligible organizations with experience in space acquisition or development

Eligible applicants, including registered nonprofit societies, community service co-ops, and charities as well as local First Nations Band Councils, can apply year round for the grant, which can cover up to 50 percent of project costs.
