We’re excited to announce our slate of Fall Workshops for 2020. This programming will take place entirely online, and includes a pair of free sessions. As always, BC Alliance members can access our workshops at a discounted rate.

First up, a free info session: Doing Career Transition Like a Creativepreneur: Go From Winging It to Owning It! On October 6, Charlene Wright of SmART Career Solutions gives you a glimpse of how creative minds can find new jobs even quicker.

Next, on October 15, dip into the stream with Live Streaming 101+. Live streaming has become essential know-how as we navigate the pandemic, and digital dynamo Robert Ouimet is here to walk you through all the steps.

Fan favourite Linda Gorrie is back with a trio of her popular finance workshops for arts and non-profit administrators. On October 28, beginners can jump in with Financial Fitness: The Basics. On November 4, Linda tackles Financial Fitness: Reporting and Relationships; and on November 18, she wraps up with Financial Fitness: Strategic Thinking. Visit our Workshops page to see which of these sessions is right for you, or take all three to receive a special discount.

Lastly, on November 25, Barb Taylor, Althea Manasan and Sage Lovell present Making Content Findable: An Introduction to Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This free workshop shares key information on how to make artist and art organization content findable online, with a particular focus on reaching new artists and audiences with disabilities.

The BC Alliance for Arts + Culture is committed to making our programming accessible to all. If the cost presents a barrier to you, or if you have any questions or needs around accessibility, please email Joyce Wan at joyce@allianceforarts.com or let us know in the registration form.

We hope you enjoy learning with the BC Alliance this Fall!
