Call for Artists Description:
INTRODUCTION
The City of White Rock is seeking proposals from interested BC artists and/or artist teams for a mural on the West Parkade, at the corner of Victoria and Vidal Street (14935 Victoria Ave) at White Rock Beach.
The art commissioned will illustrate the theme of Natural Environment.
The art will add vibrancy to the area, bringing art into the daily lives of residents and welcoming visitors to White Rock.

How to Apply:
SUBMISSION
• An artist’s statement/written concept about the proposed work based on the theme. Max. 200 words.
• How you will engage the community.
• Availability to complete the work by the end of September 2025.
• Examples of previous work (up to 5 images). Digital images should not be more than 2mb each.
• Artist(s) CV
Fees/Compensation:
The value of the submission is $12,000 and is inclusive of:
• Artist Fees
• Materials and Equipment
• Subcontractors
• Insurance
• Contingency
• Meetings
• Travel and Taxes
The City will be responsible for wall preparation, base colour and anti graffiti products
