Job Description:
Place des Arts is seeking a committed, enthusiastic and qualified Hip Hop Instructor who is passionate about dance and teaching children and adults.
The successful candidate will teach youth and adult hip hop dance classes during our 2025/2026 season. Candidates must be available to teach in-person classes on Tuesdays from September to June.
Responsibilities:
Place des Arts is seeking a committed, enthusiastic and qualified Hip Hop Instructor who is passionate about dance and teaching children and adults.
The successful candidate will teach youth and adult hip hop dance classes during our 2025/2026 season. Candidates must be available to teach in-person classes on Tuesdays from September to June.
Qualifications:
• Completion of post-secondary education in dance, experience working in the dance and performing arts industry and/or equivalent training and work experience
• Minimum of 5-years teaching experience working with various ages and abilities

Remuneration:
Starting at $40 per hour. Instructors are contracted to a self-employment agreement. Place des Arts coordinates studio space, scheduling, registration and program promotions.
