Job Description:
Place des Arts is seeking committed, enthusiastic and qualified Private Music Teachers to teach private lessons on Sundays for our 2025/2026 season. The candidates must be passionate about teaching and interact well with students of different ages and abilities. We are currently seeking private teachers for the following instruments:
• Piano
• Violin
• Cello
• Brass/Woodwinds
Responsibilities:
• Ability to communicate and interact positively with students
• Proficient in teaching a variety of ages and abilities
• Highly responsible and punctual
• Thoughtful, energetic and passionate about teaching
• Ability to teach other wind instruments an asset
• Eager to participate in, and contribute to, our vibrant centre
Qualifications:
-A Bachelor of Music or equivalent experience
-Minimum of three years of teaching experience, working with students of various ages and abilities in a private lesson setting
