Call for Artists Description:

Apply to participate in the Langley Arts Council's 4th annual Beyond Barriers Exhibition!


This call is open to all BC based artists who identify as disabled, neurodivergent, chronically ill, or who experience barriers related but not limited to mental health, physical disabilities, intellectual or developmental disabilities, learning disabilities (such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and others), sensory disabilities (such as being Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, or low vision), and speech and communication differences, whether your experience is temporary or lifelong, diagnosed or self-identified, visible or invisible.


Artists are invited to submit artwork on any theme or subject matter that is important to them. While you are welcome to explore themes related to disability or neurodivergence, artists are not required to do so. This is a space to celebrate your creativity on your terms.


The Langley Arts Council invites artists to submit 2D and 3D work, all perspectives and all subject matter is welcome.

Exhibition Dates: July 25th - September 11th, 2025


Exhibition Location: The 'Main Hall Gallery'

located at the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Center (26770 29 Ave, Aldergrove, BC V4W 3B8).


Deadline to Apply: Monday, June 30th 2025


Artwork Eligibility
